These replaced the original hoods that were disintegrating. Takes a little time and patience to install, but well worth it. For reference, (because I spent a good hour trying to make sure these would fit) these fit on my 2007 Trek 5000 TCT road bike, Ultegra shifters. I eventually figured out I needed to look at the shifter to get the model number. Duh. Should’ve thought of that sooner. You’re undoing the bar tape anyway, so just take the shifter/brake off the bars and take the old hood off and look inside with a flashlight. Numbers should be in there.
